Power On has deep roots in the digital imaging and copy business. In 1971, Raytown native Patrick Searcy opened a small copy shop called Copymart. 22 years later he moved his operations to a 3,000 square foot facility near Arrowhead Stadium—and changed the name to Power On Technologies to reflect the expansion and expertise.
His verve for the business has landed Power On several awards including: 25 under 25® by the Kansas City Small Business Monthly Magazine. And as one of the Top 50 Companies to watch through the KCB and KC Magazines.
Today, Power On Technologies empowers Kansas City area businesses with imaging equipment, scanning and document management software, along with network, computer, and server support.
